This blog is all about our family and the various things we like to do.
We live just outside of Bath in the South-West of England, at the end of a cul-de-sac next to some woodland and fields. We moved here in 2019 and we are currently renovating the house and adapting to living in the countryside.
We have many interests including;

Claire works full-time and has a keen interest in writing. Most of her free-time is spent looking after their daughter but she loves to read and write so she spends any free time writing books, short-stories and blogs.
Sam is the Director of a furniture company in Wiltshire. When he’s not busy in the workshop, he can be found in the kitchen creating mouth-watering restaurant-worthy dishes or in the garden smoking and barbecuing the most tender cuts of meat. He is easily recognisable for his stature, beard and tattoos, but he is most well known for his love of whisky and his rustic approach to life.
We share our home with our children, two rescue dogs, four ex-battery chickens and a tortoise and we’re seriously considering getting a goat next spring!
We have a keen interest in sustainability, and although we aren’t yet living a fully sustainable life, we are doing our best to build it into our lifestyle wherever we can.
Our main ethos in life is to ‘have a go’! We get stuck into projects using our knowledge and experience to problem solve, innovate and overcome. We enjoy taking on new challenges and working together in everything we do.
